Yes. Each team may submit a digital team poster as part of the Broadneck Battle of the Books experience. Posters will be displayed during the event, and a Poster Contest award will be presented.
No. Posters are optional, but teams are strongly encouraged to participate.
Posters should represent:
Your team name
Team members
Team identity or theme
School spirit and creativity
To keep the competition fair, posters may not include:
Book titles
Author names
Book cover art
Character names
Direct artwork or references from books on the reading list
Posters that do not follow these guidelines may not be displayed during the event.
Yes. Teams may use:
Emojis
Clip art
Small illustrations
Digital graphics
Original artwork
As long as they do not reveal clues or references related to Battle books or questions.
Yes. Team photos are allowed and encouraged.
Yes. Teams may use platforms such as:
Canva
Google Slides
Adobe Express
PowerPoint
Other design tools
Handmade posters are also allowed.
Yes. Teams may upload a clear photo or scan of a physical poster.
Digital submissions must be uploaded as:

No. Physical posters are optional and are not required for judging.
Yes. Teams may use AI-generated images or design tools as long as the final poster remains school appropriate and follows all event guidelines.
