Sponsors help keep Battle of the Books affordable, accessible, and exciting for students.

• Community support helps offset costs related to:

• Community organizations

• Bookstores

• Restaurants

• Alumni

• Literacy advocates

Local sponsors are encouraged, but support from outside the Broadneck area is also welcome.

Donations made directly to the PTO/PTA of a participating school are tax deductible.

Depending on sponsorship level, sponsors may receive:

• Website recognition

• Social media shout-outs

• Event signage

• Logo placement

• Recognition during the event

Yes. In-kind donations may be accepted depending on event needs.

Examples may include:

• Printing services

• Student prizes

• Snacks or drinks

The goal is to create options that work for both small businesses and larger community partners.

Yes. Family sponsorships and community donations are welcome.

Monetary donations can be made to a participating PTO/A. There is a collaborative committee that manages the event funds. Funds designated for Battle of the Books will be used specifically to support Battle of the Books expenses and event operations. 

No sponsor activities will interfere with the educational purpose of the event.

Any sponsor recognition will remain school appropriate and student-focused.
